Its clear I’m not the best at updating this blog. I wish I could be diligent enough to do it everyday.  Seems there is so much going on, I forget to sit down and write something out.  I had the opportunity to get some rest today,  so I took advantage of it and slept in. Now what I list following this, seems like a dream to some people. This is the point where I express my gratitude for what I have and the life I have. I picked up a new Laptop today, its a Dell Inspiron 17R Special Edition, pick up a new snowboard and watch Exit Through the Gift Shop. Kinda want to break down the significance of each, the chance to do what was listed did not come without hard work, just sayin. I believe we all take things like this for granted, especially in the United States of America.

Man this is so important to productivity. Having a good computer to type out a school paper, send email, research on the web, and do Graphics work is so important to my life. The Inspiron 17r Special Edition, my model at least came equipped with 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3612QM processor (6M Cache, up to 3.1 GHz), Windows® 7 Home Premium, 17.3″ Full High Definition (1080p) LED Display, 8GB3 Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM, 1TB HDD + 32GB  SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M GDDR5 2GB, not to mention it included Adobe Premiere Elements 9 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. A perfect bundle if you ask me. Its going to be more than enough to run more than one program at a time. The more I use it the more I’ll update this post.

More about on my page Documentary Updates

Exit Through the Gift Shop

Truth of the matter is this is an awesome documentary. There is no bias or opinion, no intention, nothing for you to believe or not believe. The fact of the matter is, the documentary simply portrays street art in its entirety. From start to finish it tells an individual story of a man Thierry Guetta who simply had a passion which turned to obsession and evolved into an artistic outlet. Somewhere in one of my earlier post I talked about this concept in regards to my own passions. Thierry found influences such as Banksy and Shepard Fairey in his life which encouraged him to make his own art and documentary. It was amazing to see a man, without direction, instantly find purpose. He was to create several art pieces and shows such as, Life is Beautiful and Icons. My purpose for watching the film, inspiration. Also I want to learn about documentary film making, I really don’t know enough. The best way to learn… observation and application… each film I watch gives me an opportunity to study camera angles, interview location, timing and scene changes. Every bit of information taken in is analyzed and stored for application.
